Archdiocese of Baltimore

Our Lady of Victory Parish is a faith community rich in tradition. First established in 1952 at St. Mary's School for Boys, the parish grew as a community to its present site.

Jesus brings life to our parish community when he says, "I am the vine you are the branches." As parishioners, guided by the Holy Spirit, we are called to minister to the spiritual and social needs of our members and to the community we serve. In order to fulfill our commitment to provide spiritual and social needs to our community, we as parishioners have an obligation to share our God given talents, time and financial resources. As God has provided for us, we must provide for others.

We are committed to provide religious and academic instruction through various religious educational programs which foster the faith development of children and adults within our parish community.

As branches on the vine, we are called to protect the value and dignity of all people and the sacredness of creation and to promote efforts for social justice.

As branches filled with the spirit of hope for our future, we need to grow in a greater awareness of the richness of the cultural diversity among us.

Mary serves as a model of faith and hope for us. As Mary's faith led her to accept God's mission, we as a parish, imitate her so we may live out our mission. As Mary serves as a model of hope for us, we as a people of hope remain as life giving branches on the vine.
